The goals of the GLBMP are to (1) report on Great Lakes water quality and ecosystem condition using assessments of the lower food web (phytoplankton, chlorophyll, zooplankton, Mysis and benthic invertebrates) as indicators; (2) assess the impacts to the lower food web from invasive species including quagga mussels; and (3) inform fisheries and habitat managemen...

Open competition for eligible organizations to submit applications to implement a project that strengthens Uzbekistan’s anti-corruption framework and supports a more transparent, predictable, and competitive business environment. The project seeks to improve opportunities for U.S. companies and other legitimate investors by supporting reforms that reduce corruption risks, strengthen accountability, and promote fair market conditions.

The Automated Permitting Systems Demonstration NOFO is intended to support jurisdictions that will deploy automated building code permitting systems and partner with HUD to evaluate their applicability and effectiveness within real-world operating conditions. This demonstration will test the real-world deployment of an automated permitting platform within a government permitting environment to evaluate its effects on processing timelines, workflow efficiency, staff roles, and applicant experience. The demonstration will generate empirical evidence on operational performance, costs, governance needs, and potential cost savings to inform broader adoption by state and local jurisdictions.

The USGS is offering a funding opportunity to a CESU partner for research in the following area: detecting plant species habitat to inform management. The research will be used to investigate phenology informed detection models, model transferability across broad regions, analyze spatial patterns of model uncertainty, and optimize the development and delivery of model results to practitioners charged with the management of species. Being able to detect invasive species and habitats helps to prevent the spread of, eradicate or control invasive species by helping practitioners know what species are problematic where. Thus, the research help make land management agencies work more efficient. Many longstanding challenges remain regarding detection of plant species across broad geographic ext...

How do grants differ from tenders in this space?

Grants typically fund feasibility, pilots, capacity building and TA — issued by climate funds, bilateral agencies and foundations. Tenders fund construction, equipment supply and O&M.

What compliance do green tenders require?

IFC Performance Standards, environmental and social safeguards, increasingly EU Taxonomy alignment for European-funded work, and local-content commitments.
