Upphandlingen omfattar insamling, hantering och avsättning av allt slam från reningsverken inom hela NSVA:s geografiska verksamhetsområde. Avsättning sker till jordbruket både inom och utanför medlemskommunerna. Även slampartier som inte uppfyller lagkrav eller föreskrifter omfattas. Under 2016 producerades drygt 20 000 ton slam vid reningsverken.
