How to apply
- How to apply
- A competitive submission should include a concisely written proposal containing the following: - a brief statement of the proposed project, which addresses the purpose, its long-term goals and specific short-term objectives; - an explanation of why the project would be consistent with cabot corporation's business interests; - its potential for lasting impact on the community; - its potential for significant and measurable outcomes; - evidence of the organization's tax exempt status: 501(C)(3) or international equivalent; - a brief background about your organization, its management and board membership, and qualifications of those WHO lead the proposed effort; - the total project cost, present and potential sources of funding, and the amount requested of cabot; and - financial information related to the entity. Any organization receiving a contribution from cabot will be expected to provide periodic progress reports on the funded activity or project.

- Funding decisions are generally made four times a year by the foundation's board of directors.

- Restrictions cabot will not contribute to the following except under extraordinary circumstances: - individuals - religious organizations - fraternal, political, or veterans organizations
