The application includes the following: Information about the organization including a copy of most recent financial statements; the purpose and amount of the grant request; and anticipated results. For matching gifts: Matching gift applications (for employees and retirees) include the following information: Name and address of donor; name and address of charitable organization; total amount of gift

- Grant applications will be accepted online during two annual grant cycles, spring and fall.
- Restrictions
- For grants: Grants are limited to organizations that are: Defined as tax-exempt under section 501(C)(3) of the internal revenue code; within the dominion operating area; focused on health and human services, education, culture and art,civic and community development, or the environment grants are not made to: Individuals; organizations for strictly religious purposes; courtesy advertising in programs, magazines, yearbooks, etc for matching gifts: Only gifts from full and part-time employees, current members of the board of directors, and retirees of the company are eligible for matching. Eligible organizations include designated 501(C)(3) in the United States and/or registered with the national center for education statistics (nces)
