Grant applicants should submit a complete statement about the necessity and purpose of the grant. A statement as to the significance of the project and what IT is expected to accomplish. A detailed budget showing how all funds will be spent. A statement that the applicant organization will furnish a report at the completion of the project, showing that all funds were spent to satisfy the purpose of the grant.

Restrictions

All requests, wherever originating or proposed to be achieved, will be considered on their merits; however, the trust places primary emphasis on grant requests that meet the following two criteria: 1) requests by organizations with operations in fayetteville and cumberland county, or southeast north carolina 2) requests for "seed money" to try new ideas (the trust prefers not to become involved with established programs in search of new revenues).
