Restrictions
The foundation make grants only to organizations having tax exempt status under section 501(C)(3) of the internal revenue code and to those that are not private foundations withing the meaning of section 509(A), or in the absence of such a determination, to a state or any political subdivision thereof within the meaning of sec 170(C)(1), or a state college or university. The foundation does not make grants to individuals. The foundation rarely provides grants for periods longer than three years.
