How to apply
- How to apply
- The foundation does not accept application by mail, email or fax, but via its grant interface web-based system (www.grantinterface.com/healthcareinitiative/common/login.aspx). Grant applications and reports must be submitted via hif's online system (see above link). Grant applications are available online approximately six weeks before they are due. Grant application rounds (e.g., multi-year strategic sustainability, general operating support, capacity building, and small grant rounds) are advertised on the foundation's website along with the grant calender. The foudnation also reviews emerging needs applications on a rolling basis. These requests are submitted via the foundation's online system as well.
- Deadlines
- Grant deadlines are posted on the organization's website and based on various criteria.
- Restrictions
- The foundation considers grants to 501(C)(3) healthcare nonprofits that are based in montgomery county, maryland, or to nonprofits that have county-based health programs or activities. Within its geographic and focus area, IT considers efforts to: -improve the quality and delivery of healthcare; -expand the availability of comprehensive healthcare; -build appropriate capacity in the healthcare network; and -grow the healthcare workforce.
