- The hudson-webber foundation concentrates its giving for activities based in detroit, or otherwise have a significant benefit to the detroit community. The foundation concentrates its efforts and resources in support of projects within four program mission areas, each of which impacts upon the vitality and quality of life in the community. Those mission areas are: Community and economic development; investing in efforts that provide jobs for all detroiters and strengthen neighborhoods to help achieve stable racial and economic diversity. Built environment; improve the built environment of the city of detroit by increasing the prevalence of quality physical spaces that reflect and enhance the diverse culture. Arts and culture; the enhancement of arts and culture organizations to deliver quality, accessible, and engaging cultural programs. Safe and just communities; the improvement of public safety in detroit through innovative, racially equitable strategies.
