- Jeniam foundation has specific mission areas of (a) conservation with emphasis on avian species and (b) community enhancement projects in new canaan, CT area. Grants are awarded primarily for capital projects, but May also include feasibility and marketing studies, employment enrichment programs, and other unique projects. Grant emphasis is on projects to build an organization's capacity, improve efficiency, or enhance revenue.
