- Music matters fund INC. Expects that the majority of its disbursements will be through grants. The established grant procedures include the following steps: 1. Announcement of the grants. Working in conjunction with musicians, industry professionals, and industry organizations such as the national independent venue association, music matters fund, INC. Announces the grant application timeframe, process, and online application portal. 2. Application submission. Through the online application portal, venues answer various eligibility questions, submit their applications, and required documents (including three years' worth of financial statements, income tax returns, analyses of revenue by category and expenses by category). Applicants must also detail the grant amount requested (expected to be between 10,000 and 50,000) and the expected use of the funds. 3. Initial review. At the close of the application period, various applications are eliminated to the extent they do not meet the requ
