- How to apply
- We ask potential applicants to submit a grant inquiry via price philanthropies foundation grant staff. After an internal screening process, some applicants will be invited to submit a formal grant application. The formal grant request includes the following information: Organization name, address, phone, contact information; program/project title; program/project description; request amount; total program/project budget; secured/pending funders; age group; geographical area; program area; type of support; key issues; executive summary; target audience; program deliverables; anticipated outcomes; attachments to include: 501(C)(3) tax exempt letter; detailed program/project budget; organization financials; organizational budget for current fiscal year the initial grant request must be submitted through our online system.
- Restrictions
- Grants must be made to non-profit organizations with 501(C)(3) status or governmental units such as public schools or city departments or for inherently charitable activities; grants are not made (i) to organizations whose primary purpose is religious, or (ii) for propagandizing, influencing legislation and/or elections, promoting voting registration, for political candidates, political campaigns or organizations engaged in political activities; or (iii) to federal appeals or to organizations that collect funds for redistribution to other non-profit groups.
