How to apply

All proposals should be accompanied by a complete application form and the following information: 1. A two-page executive summary providing on overview of the sponsoring organization, the proposed project, and the problem IT seeks to address. 2. The names and affiliations of the board of directors or trustees. 3. Information on the proposed project: The specific purpose and objective for which the funds are sought. An indication of the population IT will serve. The project budget and timetable. Other sources of support for the project. 4. A current operating budget. 5. Audited financial statements for the most recent year. 6. A copy of the latest internal revenue service determination letter indicating tax-exempt status under section 501(C)(3) and 509(A).

The foundation accepts applications throughout the year.

Restrictions

The foundation does not consider requests on behalf of individuals or from outside the United States. Applicants must be a charitable tax-exempt organization with a valid irs tax ID number or be a government entity to qualify for funding. The foundation typically does not consider requests for grants to conduit organizations which pass on funds to other organizations.
