How to apply
- How to apply
- No special form of application is required for a grant. Grants will be considered only for the welfare of indigent children. The application for a grant should recite the need and the purpose and should be accompanied by proof that the applicant has tax exempt status. Grants are made exclusively to aid and advance the welfare, development and education of indigent, distressed or underprivileged children and only to organizations exempt under section 501(C)(3) of the internal revenue code. A copy of the exemption letter and current financial statements, if applicable, must be attached to every grant request. The board meets near the end of the year to consider applications.
- Deadlines
- Applications will be accepted between July 1 and October 31 of each year.
- Restrictions
- There are no geographical restrictions and all charitable organizations are eligible provided they can meet the character requirement of the foundation that each grant will be made, "...to aid and advance the welfare, development and education of indigent, distressed or under-privileged children".
