How to apply

How to apply
Donor for each gift, you need to complete a gift request through eric. To access the form, click on the "matching gifts" in the "my tools" list on the eric homepage. The recipient organization will receive an email from textron's matching gift department asking for verification of the gift. If all requirements have been met, textron will match the gift.
Deadlines
Requests are processed as they are received.
Restrictions
Textron will match contributions between $25 and $7,500 per individual, per calendar year, to eligible institutions at a $1:$1 ratio, for a maximum textron contribution of $7,500. Gifts made outside of the United States must be equivalent to a minimum of $25 usd. All payments made to organizations located outside of the United States will be paid in the local country's currency. Us organizations: Organizations located in the United States must be recognized by the internal revenue service (irs) as tax-exempt and designated a public charity under section 501(C)(3) of the irs code. Non us organizations: Organizations located outside of the United States must complete a validation process to ensure they comply with irs regulations and are equivalent to a u.s. 501(C)(3) charitable organization as defined by the irs.

How to apply
Textron scholarship program entry form must be completed and submitted and the student must also take the October psat/nmsqt on the date the student's school chooses for the administration.
Deadlines
The entry form must be submitted by March 31ST of the year prior to the scholarship being awarded.
Restrictions
Only u.s. High school students WHO are children of full-time employees of textron INC. Or its business units can compete for these scholarships. Such students also must meet all requirements for participation in the national merit scholarship program that are detailed in the psat/nmsqt student guide, which is updated annually and available to all test takers in advance of test day.
