How to apply
A short (1-2 page) letter should be written containing official name & purpose of the organization, brief desc. & timetable of projects, total est. Cost of proj. & tentative support sought. Provide copy of tax exempt letter. Provide most recent audit and 990 tax return.
Deadlines
Letters with above must be mailed before June.
Restrictions
Only u.s. Orgs. With 501(C)3 and 509 (A)(1), or (2) status considered. Not considered are proposals for endowment funds, travel projects, surveys fund raising costs, research, proposals from other private foundations, multiple year, requests for emergency funds to eliminate existing deficits. Requests from national organizations only if for programs on a local level.
