A.   The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) invites proposals for a project to conduct a comprehensive uncertainty analysis for new outflow rating equations associated with a critical water control structure on Lake Superior. The primary focus of this funding opportunity is to enhance the accuracy and reliability of discharge measurements, which are fundamental to the effective management of the Great Lakes system under the Lake Superior Regulation Plan. The base task, along with both options, are all tasks that are related to improving Lake Superior outflow regulation. However, these tasks are not interdependent. The base, option 1 and option 2, are simply a priority given to these tasks if funding should be available. Task 1: Current operational procedures for the str...

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR APPLICATIONS. This announcement is to provide notice of NIC's continuation of Cooperative Agreement award 25CS06GLV5.

This CRISI Congressionally Directed Spending funding opportunity will provide funding for the early action safety work that is related to and part of the larger San Diego At-grade Crossing Elimination Study (SD ACES). The SD ACES work will analyze potential grade separations and alternative alignments at eleven at-grade rail crossings within a major transportation corridor in and near downtown San Diego. The existing at-grade crossings in the SD ACES corridor are insufficient for a busy, urban environment, leading to numerous preventable fatalities and injuries, including at Washington Street, which is ranked 1st out of 274 crossings in San Diego County for predicted yearly collisions. San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) will hire a contractor to conduct a planning study to id...

The Butte Creek Sutter Bypass West Borrow Canal (WBC) Weir #1 is a dilapidated weir structure and is no longer able to be used as a weir for the purposes of diverting and delivering water for agricultural use and to the United States Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) Sutter National Wildlife Refuge (Sutter NWR). The USFWS seek the design and permitting required for the partial removal of the weir and construction of a rock ramp that will maintain water surface elevations adequate to provide reliable water diversion rates and flows sufficient for fish passage. A feasibility study and report for Weir 1 has already been completed; final design and permitting are the next logical step in addressing the conditions at the weir. The flows required for diversion and passage should be consistent...

As President Trump said in his Executive Order on Removing Regulatory Barriers to Affordable Home Construction (March 13, 2026), The American dream of homeownership depends on a dynamic housing market in which a varied inventory of new homes is built and renovated each year. Layers of unnecessary regulatory barriers, slow permitting processes, and onerous mandates at all levels of government have delayed construction, restricted development, and driven up the costs of new housing. These constraints have made housing less affordable for many Americans. It is the policy of my Administration to reduce regulatory barriers to building homes and to steward taxpayer dollars in a manner that promotes housing affordability.HUD's PRO Housing program rewards communities that have taken steps to rem...
